Really not minding the Swirsk and Stone on the television call. Nice change of pace.

Swirsk is much better than he used to be.

Much better watch.

Swirsky and Stone taking and answering Twitter questions during today's Astros broadcast on CSN.

Good stuff. I am really enjoying the S & S team doing Sox games.

Hey, Hawk, I love you buddy and hope all is well but please take your time recouping.

I would've said Danks had a better fastball/change differential today, but I'm sure somebody would verify on pitch FX or something and tell me I'm wrong. He probably just got lucky.

?

The guy is a 30 year old lefty. He's earned his stripes in the a.l. ...I'd eat half his remaining ( 20) million n toss in Lake ...he'd be a real nice 4 the starter in the n.l. pitching for a contract.

I'd do Danks for Lake/Alcantara & Baez. Cubs eat a few million. I've always said post-injury Danks would be a very good NL pitcher.

He'd be fine, get a second lease on life.

Would do very well as a Cardinal.

The one thing that has me holding out hope right now is the top of the rotation has gotten its shit together and could put the Sox on an extended run. The offense may only have to show up in force 1 out of every 5 games (this assumes Dank's meatball bonanza alternates on a weekly basis with Rodon's utter lack of control) to win a lot of games.

Pitching sustains in this league, and the Sox have a fantastic rotation when you take a step back and look around. The Royals, Tigers and Twins will all fade as their bats cool.

That said, if the defense and offense continue to be this useless the starters would have to do historic things to put the Sox in contention.

I'm not saying he's great. I'm saying he's not Chet Chitchat anymore.

The more Swirsk does, the more he is sucking up to Stoney. And Stoney is eating it up.

He was doing the Pierre McGuire act all weekend with peppering Stoney with questions.

4-4 is a pretty good road trip so far. 6-5 would make it a really good trip, while 5-6 would make it somewhat acceptable. This team has a lot of road games in June.
